Still messing around with film and loving it! This shot is with my Voigtlander R3m and Kodak Tmax 400 film + the one sharp Leica 75mm lens shot wide open. There is nothing like the tones and dynamic range of black and white film, especially Tmax film
Self developed in the basement washroom with Ilford DDX.
There is really something about film that make my jaw drop. The highlight and shadow detail are amazing. This nude photo was taken with natural window light streaming in and a large format film camera, a vintage 4×5 Calumet that I really should post in the gear section.
Took this last weekend, a close-up of a small waterfall at slow shutter speeds in film. Taken with a very old film camera, the Voigtlander Bessa medium format camera. Continue Reading →
Took this photo of my Leica M9 camera and lenses using a Rolleiflex medium format camera and Kodak Portra 400 film, both are awesome cameras!
Spent a few hours wandering downtown cow town with the Voigtalnder R3M film camera and some black and white film (Ilford HP5 400).
Street photography with a rangefinder, good fun. Two buddies waiting on the nasty C train (AKA above ground subway). Moo cow town
I met this guy in Victoria, BC. He is an artist and I bought 2 of his works, awesome works they are too!
A new addition, (thanks Bonnie for setting this up) a Rolleiflex TLR Planar f/2.8 80mm Medium Format Camera! Just waiting on a test roll I put through it to be developed ![]()
Taken with the Nikon 85mm f/1.4 @ f/2.8
I believe this 35mm Nikon FM camera came out in 1977, its a tank with all manual settings for shutter speed, aperture and of course manual focusing. I picked it up today with three lenses (attached is the 50mm f/2) a bunch of filters, two flashes, cases, MD-11 power winder (attached to camera in photo) and a 90 degree view finder, the DR-2 is seen in the foreground. Cant wait to load it up with some film…
