I was surprised to find this little blue bird, it was right after a snow storm and very overcast. It seems this mountain blue bird arrived here a few weeks too early from his winter migration. Not a lot of bugs to eat but he looked healthy, but cold.

This first year male posed for me for a good 15 minutes before heading along the river bank.
